1. OLIVE OIL

Warm some olive oil and massage the bunion, toes and lower foot for 10-15 minutes twice a day. This will enhances circulation and increases the blood flow to the foot and toes and encourages the synovial fluid to move around the bones again.

2. TURMERIC

Turmeric is one of the most efficient home remedies for bunions on feet. Turmeric contains capsaicin which can help to relieve inflammation and reduce pain as well. Mix turmeric powder with some water to make a paste. Apply it directly on the bunion every day at least 2-3 times. Allow the paste to dry on the skin. Turmeric can also be added to any massage oil so that the skin absorbs the medicinal spice and improves the blood circulation in the area.

3. PREPARE AN ASPIRIN SOAK

Aspirin is a valuable cure for bunions. Crush 3-4 aspirin tablets to a fine powder. Add the aspirin powder to a tub filled with warm water. Now soak your foot in this solution for 10-15 minutes or till the swelling and pain reduces.

4. CASTOR OIL

Castor oil is a great natural anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent which you can use to relieve and treat bunions. Put half a cup of castor oil in a pan and heat it till it is quite warm. Soak one piece of cotton cloth into the oil. Apply it directly onto the bunions and use a warm and thick cotton cloth to cover over the soaked cloth. 5. STRETCHING EXERCISES

Foot exercises and toe stretches for bunions can help keep the joint between your big toe and the rest of your foot mobile, maintaining flexibility and strengthening the muscles that control your big toe.

Point your toes straight ahead for 5 seconds, then curl them under for another 5 seconds. Repeat this movement up to 10 times to help relieve bunions.

Toe flexing:
Press your toes against a flat, hard surface, such as a wall. Flex and stretch your toes for up to 10 seconds, then repeat four times. Then, flex your toes in the opposite direction and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat four times.
