Ingredients / सामग्री:

Chickpeas (white) | Kabuli Chana (काबुली चना) – 1 ½ Cup (कप)
Chickpeas Stock (काबुली चना स्टॉक) – 2 Tablespoon (चम्मच)
Lemon | Lime Juice (नींबू का रस) – ½ Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस)
Roasted Peanut (भुना हुआ मूंगफली) – 5 Teaspoon (छोटी चम्मच)
Onion (प्याज / कांदा) – 1 medium size, finely chopped (मध्यम आकार की, बारीक़ कटा)
Tomato (टमाटर) – 2 medium size, finely chopped (मध्यम आकार की, बारीक़ कटा)
Fresh Coriander | Cilantro | Parsley (हरा धनिया) – 2 Table spoon finely chopped (चम्मच, बारीक़ कटा)
Boiled Potato (उबला हुआ आलू) – 1 medium size, cut into squares (मध्यम आकार का, चौकोर टुकड़ो में कटा हुआ)
Chat Masala (चाट मसाला) – ½ Teaspoon (छोटी चम्मच)
Pani Puri Masala (पानी पूरी मसाला) – ½ Teaspoon (छोटी चम्मच)
Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) – 1 Teaspoon (छोटी चम्मच)
Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) – ¼ Teaspoon (छोटी चम्मच)
Oil (तेल) – 3 Teaspoon (छोटी चम्मच)
Salt (नमक) – To taste (स्वाद के अनुसार)

Method:
Soak chickpeas (kabuli chana) for 12 hours in water.
After 12 hours drain the water and boil the soaked chickpeas in fresh water by adding salt and a pinch of baking soda. Keep the left over water aside after boiling, we will use it as its stock.
Put on the burner and heat oil in a pan, when oil is heated, add boiled chickpeas to it and saute it for 10 minutes on low medium flame. Stir it continuously.
Remove chickpeas in a bowl and add chopped boiled potatoes, finely chopped tomato, onion and mix it well.
Now add roasted peanuts, red chilli powder, chaat masala, pani puri masala, garam masala, salt and mix it well.
Now add lemon juice, chickpeas stock, fresh chopped green coriander and mix it well.
Remove in a serving plate. Sprinkle some tamarind chutney and green chutney on top of it, if you like.
Our delicious and healthy Chatpati Chana Chaat is ready to serve. Enjoy it with Masala tea.
