Scientists warn that we are on the edge of the ‘post-antibiotic era’, where bacteria will be more and more often resistant to antibiotics. There are two reasons for that: human abuse of antibiotics and giving antibiotics to animals to prevent illnesses.
In a poll, only one third or respondents said they know that once you have taken a course of antibiotics, you must finish it. If not, bacteria can make you sick and infect other people. For example, the STDs are antibiotic-resistant and highly problematic.
You should turn to natural remedies and natural antibiotics, except only in cases when you really have to take the prescribed conventional medicines in order to be healthy again.
Here is a list of natural antibiotics you should use:
garlic has been used for thousands of years for treating illnesses. Its main ingredient, Allicin, gives garlic its potent smell. The allicin has powerful antibiotic and antiviral properties. In a study it has been discovered that the allicin in garlic lowers the risk of colds by 64 percent and reduces its symptoms by 70 percent. There are not enough studies, but this is a promising start that gives way to this natural remedy.
2). Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar contains malic and acetic acid and vitamins, amino acids and mineral salts. It is rich in vitamin C, E, B6 and A, pectin, lycopene, thiamin, niacin and pantothetic acid. This ingredient is highly healthy and beneficial. It has great antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. Even though a bit harsh to drink, you can dilute it with water or take it as a shot with some water as a chaser.
the horseradish has been proven to be an efficient antibiotic, especially against intestinal, sinus, bladder and skin infections. Its antibiotic nature is probably a result of the high content of sulfur. It is also believed to expel parasites from the body.
onions have been used from long ago for reducing inflammation and healing infections. Onions are abundant in quercetin, a compound that fight free radicals in the body. Onions also help the bio absorption of vitamin C in the body and improve the immunity and its response to infections.
ginger is rich in phenolic compounds such as gingerols and shogaols in the root. They help in the increase of the movements in the gastrointestinal tract and have strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
6). Habanero pepper
replace the Tobasco sauce with the Habaneros, the spiciest peppers in the world. Just like the others hot peppers, Habaneros are abundant in capsaicin, a compound that stimulates the blood flow and helps in relieving congestion in the sinuses due to sinus infection. They also contain plenty of vitamin C.
