3 At-Home Ways To Take Care of Unwanted Hair

Most people turn to conventional ways of removing unwanted hair and it can be stressful.

They can be expensive and time consuming, and worst of all, they are not always effective.

Thankfully, there are some natural ways that can help you treat and remove unwanted hairs in the comfort of your own home.

If you are looking for the best options to help you get rid of facial hair or hair anywhere else, we have 5 highly effective ways of doing so!

5 At-Home Ways To Take Care of Unwanted Hair
  1. Papaya Paste

This is one of the easiest and most effective ways of removing unwanted hair, especially on your face. You will need papaya paste, which can be found in health food stores or ethnic stores (or you can prepare it yourself by peeling and mashing papaya) and turmeric powder. Mix about 1 to 2 tablespoons of papaya with 1/2 a teaspoon of turmeric. Massage this on your face or wherever the unwanted hairs are for about 15 minutes and then wash it off. For the best results, you should do this about two times a week.

  1. Sugar Scrub

This is another great option that costs very little and takes a short time to make. You will need 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 a cup of honey, 1/2 a lemon, and 1 tablespoon of tea tree oil or chamomile oil. This is about 8 to 10 drops of oil. Mix all of this together in a pot and allow it to warm on the stove. You should be able to spread it easily, but be sure that you allow the mixture to cool before applying it to your skin. Clean the area on which you will be spreading the paste and then sprinkle a bit of cornstarch on your skin. This will help you dry the area and making it easier to get the effect you want. Spread the mixture on top of the cornstarch and press a piece of cloth on top. Rip off the cloth quickly after about 5 minutes. It works like a session of waxing but without the expense!

  1. Chickpea and Flour Mask

Chickpea is very effective in stopping hair growth and removing unwanted hair. You will need chickpea flour, which you can find in most supermarkets, 1/2 milk, fresh cream unless you have oily skin, and 1 teaspoon turmeric. Mix all of this together and apply it to your face in the direction in which your hair naturally grows. Let it stay for about 30 minutes and then rub the mask off in the opposite direction of hair growth.
