From bright, dance-floor perfect saris to colour-blocked skirts and nomad-inspired jewellery, there are loads of inspiration that you can pick up from Bollywood as you rock the coolest Holi parties in town. “Holi is a significant festival in Hindi films. Bollywood is the perfect inspiration for the festival when it comes to spicing up your look with some quirky, colourful clothing,” says fashion designer Nida Mahmood.
Guys, too, should not shy away from wearing bright, cheerful colours. “There can be no room for boredom on a festival like Holi. Think loud and glittering like Bollywood. Holi is about letting go of your fears. An apologetic mashup of colours and bling would look great.
