Drinking More Water Isn’t Always A Good Idea

A light lemonade shade means that you have reached an optimal hydration status. Dark yellow urine means that you are dehydrated and you need to drink water more.

When you just had a big meal
Drinking water during or after a meal can cause a lot of discomfort. The water will dilute your digestive juices thereby causing interference in the digestion process. In fact, drinking water after a heavy meal may leave you feeling more bloated.

During a super-intense workout or physical activity
When you are engaged in a super-intense workout, you are regularly losing electrolytes like sodium and potassium through sweat. These crucial nutrients cannot be replaced by water or any sugary sports drink. Experts say that for an electrolyte boost one can’t opt for coconut water which is high in vitamin C, sodium, potassium and magnesium.
