Nail fungus is a fungal infection normally forming underneath the nail, more frequently on the toe nails. It needs to be treated instantly otherwise it will infect other parts of the body or result in loss of the nail
The alkaline nature of baking soda can prevent fungi from growing and spreading out.
Mix 1 to 2 teaspoons of baking soda with adequate warm water to make a paste. Use it on your nails for a couple of minutes. Rinse it off with warm water. Repeat once daily.
ELIMINATE YELLOW NAILS
The lightening and exfoliating residential or commercial properties of baking soda can help get rid of discolorations from the nails.
Mix 2 and one-half tablespoons of baking soda and one tablespoon of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Use the mixture on the stained nails. Leave it on for 3-4 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water. Repeat this procedure every six to eight weeks.
