Where is the magical (Zu San Li) point located on your body?
The Zu San Li point is located just below the kneecap. If you put your hands on your knees, so that your right hand is on your right knee and your left hand is on your left knee, this point would be just between the ends of your ring and the pinky finger, between the bones.
However this is not the only way to locate this point. Another way to locate this point is to sit on the floor. Then strongly press your feet on the ground in front of you. It is crucial that you are relaxed when applying acupressure on this point, and the best position for massaging this point is when you are sitting. For massaging this point you can use your fingers or some grain cereals, such as buckwheat, oats, rice, etc. You can also use garlic cloves. All you have to do is cut the clove in half, place it on the point and leave it there for about 1-2 hours, or until the skin turns red.
You should note that if you want to lose some weight, you need to massage this point in the evening. By doing so you will be able to lose 400-500 grams a week. However you need to be careful, because acupressure on this point in the evening can cause you insomnia.
