The body’s internal thermostat is the hypothalamus. By secreting hormones through thyroid glands, it regulates the body temperature that actually controls how fast the body burns calories and uses energy. The UNDER-production of the thyroid hormone is called HYPOthyroidism.
Droopy and swollen eyes, goiter, poor memory and concentration, constipation migraines, low immunity, loss of 1/3 of outer eyebrows, hair loss, scaly and dry skin, muscle cramps, muscle weakness, infertility, heavy periods, PMS problems, elevated cholesterol, weight gain, slow heart rate, low body temperature, intolerance to cold, loss of appetite and chronic fatigue.

Highly refined foods and chemicals: dairy products (except yogurt), refined sugars, white flour, hydrogenated fats such as margarine, pesticide laden foods, fat free foods, diet foods, carbonated drinks, diet soda, artificial sweeteners, sugar substitutes.
Foods to consume more
Increase the consumption of protein by eating organic meat, eggs, quinoa, seeds and nuts. Whole grains, sea salt, seaweed, prunes, leafy greens, potatoes parsley, oranges, carrots, dates, avocados, asparagus and apricots.
Supplements to take
Zinc, cooper, selenium, omega 3, brewer’s yeast, vitamin B complex, L-tyrosine and kelp. Check with your nutritionist because each individual’s dosage is different.
