
If you think sweating it out in a gym every day would help you slim down, you’ve got to think again. According to a new study, exercise alone may not really help in preventing weight gain.
“Our study results indicate that physical activity may not protect you from gaining weight,” said lead study author Lara Dugas, Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in the US.
The findings of the study involving young adults from five countries were published in the journal PeerJ.
