Castile soap is a great, natural option to use as a bath or shower soap, but sometimes (especially during the winter!) your skin needs something with a bit more moisturizing power.

This Coconut Oil Body Wash is the perfect solution! The addition of ultra-hydrating rose water and coconut oil, as well as soothing and nourishing lavender essential oil, to unscented castile soap creates a luxurious body wash that will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth, no matter the season!

  • 2 cups unscented castile soap
  • 1 cup rose water*
  • 3 Tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 15-20 drops lavender essential oil

* If you don’t have any rose water on hand, but happen to have a bottle of rose essential oil, you can easily make your own rose water using the following recipe:

To make the rose water, add the rose oil and distilled water to a pint jar and shake really well to distribute the oil.

Add the castile soap, rose water, coconut oil, and lavender essential oil to a quart-sized jar or container.

Shake gently to combine.

Pour the body wash into a small squeeze bottle, or container of choice, to use in the bath or shower. Make sure to shake before each use.

To use: squirt onto a washcloth, bath pouf, or directly onto your body.

This moisturizing body wash is gentle enough to use on your face, and also makes enough rich lather to use as a shave soap. The whole family will love it!
