One Man’s Genius Idea To Grow Tomatoes!


You just need some patience, water, and adequate sunlight. And, after a certain period, you will get a six-foot tall tomato plant with cherry or big size tomatoes!

Tomatoes take a long time to grow and as mentioned above, you need to be patient. And if you think that you are not capable of it, think of this like James Bryan: Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration!

The idea of this man resulted in something very functional and effective. His setup is simple and really brilliant!

Bryan says:

“On May 28th, I started planting 4 tomatoes around a garbage can with holes drilled at the bottom rim and the second row about 10 inches up. I buried the can with the top holes barely above the ground and put in 2 shovels full of compost.

First of all, you need to take a 13-gallon kitchen garbage can, where you can grow the tomato plants. Then, replace the can with 5-gallon buckets, as they are cheaper and easily available.

Also, you can use a larger can. But make sure that each plant gets 5 gallons of water per week. If you use a 5-gallon bucket and plant 2 tomato plants, fill the bucket two times per week.
