Self-Test for Thyroid Problems! See!

Before 50 years, Dr. Barnes found that the temperature of the body is an excellent indicator of the work of the thyroid gland, especially temperature, which is measured in the morning, immediately after waking.

Method of performing the test

Prepare thermometer mercury from the evening, so that will shake the temperature which shows to be less than 35 degrees Celsius. In the morning, when you wake up, put the thermometer under the armpit, taking care that between the thermometer and the skin has no clothes. Hold the thermometer 10 minutes, and then read the result and save it. It’s your morning basal temperature, which is normally between 36.5 to 36.8 degrees.

CHECK YOUR THYROID AT HOME

Results of the test:

If your temperature is between 36.5 and 36.8 degrees, your thyroid gland is working properly. If your temperature is below 36.5 degrees, then it comes to its reduced food functions. The symptoms of reduced function of the thyroid gland, or hypothyroidism, lack of energy, fatigue, hair loss, dry skin, headache, chronic infections, and poor concentration.

If the temperature is higher than 36.8 degrees, it is accelerated work or hyperthyroidism. Symptoms include anxiety, loss of weight, warm and moist skin and accelerated heart rate.

For the test to be as accurate, it is necessary to repeat at least three days in a row. If you find that your body temperature is outside of the normal value, contact your doctor, who will help to establish normal function of the thyroid gland.
