Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin that develops on the epidermis, the top layer of the skin.
The fungus thrives in warm, moist areas and can infect different areas of body. Ringworm infections generally causes red, itchy and scaly patches on the skin. Below are 3 simple home remedies for ringworm.

1. RAW TURMERIC
Grind raw turmeric to a fine paste. Gently apply the paste on the ringworm patches and leave it there for as long as possible. The antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties of turmeric will eradicate the infection, reduce the itching and heal the skin very effectively.
2. TEA TREE OIL
Tea tree oil is one of the best remedies for ringworm. It has powerful anti-fungal and anti-septic properties which clears the infection and speed up healing. Dip a cotton ball into tea tree oil and dab it gently on the affected areas three times daily.
3. ALOE VERA
Aloe vera is a great remedy to get rid of any skin infection. Aloe vera soothes irritated skin, and it has anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. Slice down the center of a fresh aloe vera leaf and squeeze out the gel. Apply the gel to infected skin. Repeat 3 times daily until ringworm is healed.
