We all know that plants in our home release oxygen. But few of us know that they are able to clean the air from mold and toxins which is great for health.
NASA conveyed a study on domestic plants, and concluded that some plants are better than others in cleaning the air and removing the toxins from the room.
These plants also clean the air from dust, paint, building materials etc.

Aloe – This plant is great for increasing oxygen level in the home because it absorbs the carbon dioxide, formaldehyde and carbon monoxide. Nine air purifiers can be replaced with one Aloe Vera plant.
Ficus (FicusElastica) – This plant doesn’t need a lot of light and you can maintain it easily. It is quite effective in purifying the air of formaldehyde. But avoid it if you have pets or small children because its leaves may be poisonous.
