Farts can sometimes be stinky due to some foods we have previously ingested, such as broccoli, cauliflowers, almonds and Brussels sprouts.
Additionally, foods rich in sulfur also create pretty smelly farts. Such foods are eggs and meat for instance, and even though it already crossed your mind, you should not stop eating them.

According to some studies, the average person farts fourteen times a day. This might sound strange to you, but farts, including the smelly ones, are a good thing and they indicate that your digestive system is doing fine. This does not mean that you have health issues, and you can easily make the necessary changes to eliminate this problem. You should also know that even drinking too much coffee can lead to recurrent farts.
The same can happen if you consume too many carbohydrates too, because some types of food cannot be broken down easily by the digestive system, especially following a vegetarian or vegan diet or eating food fast.
Reducing the consumption of foods rich in sulfur, such as beef and pork for example, reduces the amount of stinky farts. You can replace these types of food with chicken and fish.

– Always chew the food well before you swallow it. If you chew more slowly, you will make it easier for the intestines and the stomach, as well as for the entire digestive system to break the food down.
– Eat more fresh food, such as fruits and vegetables. They are called natural laxatives, meaning that they regulate and stabilize the bowel movement.
– You can treat some stomach problems by eating garlic, peppermints and sassafras. These foods are some of the many that have been used for treating issues of this kind for many years, since ancient times.
